Stop the LOSS of agility, fluidity of movement, flexibility and efficient blood flow.
Why not take advantage of your spare time and try yoga?
Yoga is a therapeutic system of stretching techniques coupled with mindful breathing, meditative and self awareness practices to bring a sense of wellbeing to the body, weather you are 7 or 70 years old!
So why the need for chair yoga at this stage of your life?
As the body ages it is more susceptible to condtions such as arthritis, high blood pressure,
digestive ailments, rheumatism and so many other conditions.
Don't worry if you've a problem with balance or feel physically weak, we always use a chair to
accommodate this! Chair yoga is all about empowerment! So remember, if you don't use it you loss it...
and at this stage in your life, its crucial that you keep those joints active!
The beauty of yoga is that you are taught to listen to your own body and to respect your limitations, whilst strenghtening both body and mind thus enhancing appreciation of one's self.
